Why become a member?
Fibreshed Ireland operates as a not-for-profit social enterprise. Although we have received seed funding from the Fibershed HQ in California and Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, the funds are project-specific and not sufficient to support our general operations. The contributions from our membership base will help us become an independent and resilient not-for-profit enterprise. This will allow us to channel even more time, energy, resources and money into supporting and advocating for a sustainable and equitable future for our land, our culture and our communities.
