FAQ

Occasionally, we receive funding from bodies such as Fibershed HQ, the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland and Social Entrepreneurs Ireland. However, these funds are project-specific and insufficient to support our day-to-day operations. The contributions from our members help us become an independent and resilient not-for-profit enterprise. This will allow us to channel even more time, energy, resources and money into supporting and advocating for a sustainable and equitable future for our Land and our local communities.

Once you set up your membership, you’ll gain access to our Members’ Hub. This is where all your member benefits are available in one convenient place.

Once you set up your membership, it will automatically renew once a year has passed. You can cancel your membership at any time in the Members’ Hub.

The future of regenerative Irish textiles depends on this community

Grassroots movements that address the root causes of systemic issues –such as ours– rarely receive government support. It is up to our community to support and uplift each other. Our team of volunteers is working tirelessly to champion Irish-grown fibres and dyes, but we can’t do it alone. Become a member of Fibreshed Ireland today and be a part of the movement toward equitable Irish textiles.

If you prefer to support Fibreshed Ireland in a different way, you can also sign up to be a volunteer.
