In December 2022, we started a knowledge transfer group of fibre and dye farmers who are interested in or already implementing regenerative land management practices. This group aims to share ideas and experiences, eventually co-creating a verification system for Irish fibres and dyes that are grown following agroecological principles. The programme is inspired by Fibershed’s Climate Beneficial™ programme in the USA.
We have a publicly available library of regenerative farming resources submitted by the members of the Reciprocal Textiles programme. This library is constantly updated to help our community have a better understanding of what agroecology is and how it can benefit our soil health, the resilience of our communities and the way our textiles are produced.
